EXPERIENCE GUIDE TO STUDY WITHOUT TENSION
Do you have a fast approaching exam?
Could it be sudden?
Are you scared of failing an exam due to tension?
I was a victim of exam tension for many times.
About four months ago, my school went for a break due to some sort of protest among the student and the school management. Because of this our school academic activities was paused. But to every students surprise it happened to be that the school calendar remains unchanged by the management.
However, I wasn't preparing at home at all due to the fact that we haven't been taught that much before we went for the break. My house wasn't close enough to the school atleast to visit the school library during the period. I was at home very busy with many things that kept on whirling away my time. Some months later the school decided to call us back to resume the academic activities and lectures.
To everyone's greatest surprise , the school fixed the exam with respect to the school calendar. Every students thought it was going to be postponed, but it didn't happen that way.
Man! Oh my God! This can't be happening that was my reaction. About 80% of the students weren't prepared for the exam.
And you know what? Am among the 80% not prepared for the exam. Everybody was under TENSION while studying for the exam. Some of which were running helter skelter trying to find means of passing the exam.
Meanwhile, the school lecturers were also rushing to meet up to their course outlines for the semester.
Does the school management want Us to fail?.
Why shouldn't they postpone the exam in favour of the students?
This, they Dont want to know.
BUT THIS WAS WHAT I DID AND YOU SHOULD DO SAME IF IT OCCURS TO YOU
*First, I said to my self, " I can do this" trust me this kind of self motivational words really works. Each time I want to study I say that word "I can do this"Its important you learn how to use this words it really helps.
*I reviewed past questions and their answers. I got the knowledge of how the questions were been asked the previous years and their solutions. This is very important.
*I meet the lecturers each handling the courses that I couldn't understand very well. You have to approach them in a nice way. Dress well , look mature.. You Dont wanna get kicked out of their office. However, they taught me to my understanding.
Should I have all these topics they taught me in my head?
This is what I did
" I have to pick relevant topic , study them more than the irrelevant ones" this is another trick.
*. I attempted previous years questions on my own to test my ability of which I did great.
. * I was so excited about everything . this really help a lot to reduce the tension of the exam.
Moreover, few day later, the exam approached and after the back of the exam I did well. The questions were exactly 70% as I wanted.
